Bann Maine West enjoyed a visit from the Mayor of Mid and East Antrim and was presented with a certificate recognising their work with the local communities.
Bann Maine West committee raises £3,800 for local man Harold McCloy to make and distribute Face Shields to NHS and Care Homes throughout the area.This amazing amount raised was through the efforts of our Development Officer, Joanne Brown Kerr, who ran 10 miles around her farm at home with the aim of raising a few pounds for the cause. The committee of Bann Maine West put a huge effort in raising money in their local communities and also support from the Ballymena Rotary Club, local businesses including Jim Gaul from E.Gaul & Son in Portglenone and friends/family, the initial few pounds rose to £3,800.
